Dresscode – Investor Relations Intern

Role Overview

The Dresscode team is looking for an intern that can support investor relation activities for the brand.  This person will learn about different funding types, help with pitch decks and investor relations. 

Key Activities

  • Identify possible investor partners
  • CRM Management
  • Content creation for investor communication
  • Can meet engagement goals 

Requirements/Skills

  • Finance/Business/Marketing/Consulting Background
  • Must be excited about startup, fundraising and sales
  • Excellent written skills
  • Basic financial modeling
  • Has a passion for social commerce, retail, fashion and technology
  • Is a self-starter and problem solver
  • Works under limited direction
  • Can manage own time and schedule
  • Wants to learn

Timing/Hours

  • At the digression of the intern as necessary. Starting as soon as possible.
  • The total expected hours per week: 10 to 15 hours per week as work is completed.
  • Example breakdown of work/week:
    • 5 hours investor research and relations, CRM management
    • 5 Creative funding sourcing
    • 3 hours of industry research i.e.:
      • Funding types
      • Deal flow
      • Fashion
      • Retail
      • Tech
      • eCommerce
  • It is up to the intern to manager their time accordingly

Graduate/MBA student, will consider college students. Location: Preferability in Chicago or South Bend, but can be remote.
